Anything to do with transitioning to a non-Corporate based PC operating system. Ubuntu is a Corporate Borderlander, but is the main contender, a highly developed and a user friendly way to get to realise the comparative simplicity of installing and operating a Linux based ‘Operating System’. These are free community sourced works in general, and on the whole leave you with an advertising and virus resistant desktop tool. Security is one of the feature points. Not the ‘Corporate’ kind of security definition though, which they somehow seem to invert and mince the meanings. As they do with ‘freedom’. Lol
The new Long Term Support version of Ubuntu is out. This is a review, and a rundown of Linux in general for anyone interested.
